Magnification differs depending on the lens used with the EF12, but the range is between .3x and .5x. You can use the EF12 in conjunction with the Canon EF25 Extension Tube for an even greater amount of magnification. The EF12 is equipped with eight electronic contacts, permitting the retention of all normal AE functions. Autofocus is possible with some combinations of EF lenses and the EF12; however, use of the manual focus ring is recommended.
